Awwww, Spring

What a beautiful spring day. Even though I am not well and have been home for several days with this colourful ankle, I am so enjoying the delicate flowers which are coming up in the garden. A trip around the garden is a painful proposition, but oh, so beautiful.

Thank You Jesus that You created such beautiful, delicate flowers. You could have made everything shades of grey, but You gave us lovely, intricate colours to enjoy. I pray that when You look at our lives, you see those hues and shades of beauty in us, your creation.

Matthew 6:28 - 33 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"Consider the lilies of the field, they neither toil nor sow. But Solomon in all his glory is not as beautiful as one of these."

i subscribe to bloglines, which is like a notifier when someone posts to their blog so you can keep up with the every day. too complicated to tell you in a reply how to add it or subscribe, but just before i saw this post, i was here: visual voice and thought *wow* and i came to yours and though *wow* like, perfect timing :)

she is an artist/photographer, don't know if she is a believer, have only been visiting on occasion, but i think you'll like her pictures...

Sounds like God is using your homeboundedness (is that a word?) to cause you to sorta stop and smell the roses, huh? :)

I've always wondered: How can you (people) not think there is a God when all you have to do is look around at the beauty of the earth???

I love this verse:

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:20

His creation IS beautiful!
